Our conditions of rental and cancellation of stay
1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) apply to all reservations made with the Best Western Premier Santa Maria hotel (hereinafter "the Hotel"), whether made directly (telephone, email, official website) or via a partner/distributor. Any reservation implies unreserved acceptance of these GTC.
■ For reservations of more than 5 rooms, specific conditions apply. They are available upon request from the hotel.
2. Reservation and confirmation
The reservation is only firm and final after receipt of written confirmation from the Hotel (email or mail). Some reservations may require the provision of a credit card number as a guarantee or the payment of a deposit. The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided at the time of booking.
3. Pricing conditions
Prices are quoted in euros, all taxes included, excluding tourist tax (which is levied in addition according to current regulations). Rates are subject to change depending on the date, demand, and the hotel's sales policy.
Promotional offers are subject to specific conditions (non-modifiable, non-cancellable, non-refundable, unless otherwise stated).
4. Terms of payment
Payment for the stay and additional services is made upon arrival or departure of the client, unless specific conditions are agreed in advance.
Means of payment accepted:
- Cash (within the legal limit of €1,000 for French tax residents and €15,000 for non-residents).
- Bank cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express.
- ANCV holiday vouchers.
- Cadhoc / Cado checks.
- Bank transfers (subject to conditions).
### Regular bank checks are not accepted.
In case of no-show, the Hotel will debit the amount provided according to the cancellation conditions below.
5. Modification and cancellation of reservation
- Between 13 days and 8 days before arrival: 50% of the total amount of the stay will be charged.
- Between 7 days and 2 days before arrival: 75% of the total amount of the stay will be charged.
- Less than 2 days before arrival: 90% of the total amount of the stay will be charged.
- In case of no-show on the day of arrival: 100% of the stay will be charged.
- Any early departure: the entire stay initially reserved is due and billed at 100%.
Prepaid, non-refundable stays are not eligible for any refund, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
6. Stay at the Hotel
Rooms are available from 16:00 PM on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11:00 AM on the day of departure. Any stay beyond this time may result in an additional night being charged.
Pets are allowed for an additional charge of €25 per night.
The customer agrees to respect the internal regulations of the Hotel.
The Hotel reserves the right to interrupt without compensation the stay of any guest whose behavior is contrary to good morals or disturbs public order.
7. Liability
The hotel declines all responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings left in rooms or common areas. Guests are responsible for any damage caused to their rooms and may be charged for repair or replacement.
The Hotel cannot be held liable in the event of force majeure (strike, bad weather, pandemic, etc.) resulting in a modification or cancellation of the stay.
8. Personal data
The information collected during the reservation is subject to computerized processing intended to ensure customer management.
In accordance with the GDPR, the customer has the right to access, rectify and delete their data by contacting the Hotel directly.
9. Complaints and disputes
Any complaint relating to a stay must be sent in writing to the Hotel within 15 days of departure.
In the event of a dispute, the customer is informed of the possibility of using the competent consumer mediator free of charge.
The applicable law is French law, and disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
