The small seaside resort of Île-Rousse has many restaurants during the summer period, a magnificent beach of fine sand with turquoise water "as on the postcards" awaits you to make you dream.
The residence is only five kilometers from Monticello with its famous gourmet restaurant. Be curious and wander around the most remote corners where time has eroded some of the ancient buildings hidden in the heart of the old town.
For lovers of hiking, you can take the mule tracks that lead to Pigna or Sant'Antonino through a still wild nature. These two villages are obviously on the Route des Artisans, with its arts and crafts workshops and its range of local products to taste and take home. For wine lovers, there are also two vineyards within 10km of the hotel, as well as the popular Wine Route, which passes through the fashionable Lumio, a picturesque village with nearby sandy beaches and impressive views of the Gulf of Calvi. About a 20-minute drive away is the nine-hole Regino golf course.
In July you will also have the pleasure of taking part in Festivoce, Pigna's international music festival, which offers a full program of events, including concerts and performances in the streets, baroque churches, chapels and squares, the all within a 15 minute drive.
